Todays doings

Today hasnt been too exciting, pretty much just what i usually do, woke up, opened the door, get knocked back by wave of 40 C heat, go eat breakfast, which was AWESOME, because i had egg on toast and bacon!!!!! I then had to go to the shops to sort out my money, and on the way back I found out from my room mate kyle that there is a temple just down the road, heres the pics

Found this near the temple, thats how it should be done, they are to hip for barbed wire
My beautiful watch which only cost me R40
My rainbow coffee

And the new girl arrived today, Tanita, we are all going out clubbing tomorrow night so will take plenty of photos to show you how it goes

So anyways, Today was pretty good, mostly explored around all the little streets that you can find out my area( of which there are plenty) So anyways, I have taken plenty of photos for your viewing pleasure. So, take a look at them, and let me know what you think.
 Some random very quiet street
what they were selling on the street (statues gardening stuff, etc)
next couple of photos are all taken while walking down the street, as you can see, there are little shops everywhere

The Thia people are very religious, therefor, their Ronald McDonald is in his prayer position

This is a huge shopping mall, 5 stories, and each story sells its own unique items, so, the bottom floor sells mostly food from major world wide sellers (KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonald's etc), the second floor is mostly Thai food and independent home made meals. The third floor is home decoration and clothes, the fourth is mobile networking companies and communication. The fifth floor is my favorite, the IT floor, i couldn't take many photos as you were not allowed to inside the store, but i managed to take these ones when the guards looked away(there were a lot more, but they were to blurry)
 Taken from the clothes floor
 The Thai food floor

An arcade, movie and bowling place, about 50M from the main mall(there are plenty of main malls as well)

Yes you are reading this right, Seaweed pringles, i was to scared to get any.
 Coco pops for lunch
Drinking some Leo beer with my new mate Kyle, tastes just like black label

Bankok

So, trip here was terrible, the turbulence was so bad all the way from Dubai to Bangkok, I kept fearing the worst, I just kept waiting for that traditional priest to walk up to the front of the plane and start praying for everyone. Luckily though, we landed safely. During the flight I intended on sleeping during the plane, but due to the turbulence, that was impossible, every time I just managed to sleep a violent shake would wake me up. The food was awesome though, had this awesome bun and chocolate balls fulled with butterscotch. The 6 hour flight felt like 10 hours though. I sat next to this awesome old thai couple that were actually from Germany, who told me all about Thailand. When we landed I got my things and got picked up by Patrick from OVC, who took me by taxi to my Hotel, where as soon as I put my head on the pillow I fell asleep. Woke up this morning and had to go get a few things so i could use my laptop. I slept for like 13 hours. The first thing that hit me is was how hot it was, i was barely out the hotel when I started to sweat. But anyways, I found a shopping mall called "the mall", thats really what its called, and have now assumed that they are to lazy to find out what there names mean in English because there are shops called, 'the restaurant' and 'the movies'. Im not even kidding. As soon I got back i started working on my blog while skyping with my dad

Dubai

Sorry for the late post, but the main wireless connection in Dubai was done, and all the other ones required a passport, so I am writing about this in my Bangkok hotel room. The flight to Dubai wasn't to bad, Just a 8 hour flight in a tiny chair, looking at a tiny screen, luckily there was no one sitting next to me so I was able to use both seats for extra space. Since It was night time there wasnt much to see, so not many photos were taken
View of Dubai as we were coming in to Land
watching some x-men first class, other movies were super 8, thor, Rio, and some other new ones

After we landed I first had to find out where on earth my next departure gate was, which turned out to be about 50M away from my current position, which I only found out after about half an hour of walking around. The Dubai airport is massive, and has mini shops in it that trump Pavilion. Unfortunately I did not take many photos as I was super tired from the flight and needed to sleep, they actually have these bed chairs but they were all full so had to resort to a couch. After 4 hours of absolutely no sleep, i had to head to the departure gate for my next flight.

                                                        Parts of Dubai aiport
This is where i slept, or at least tried to, on one of those green couches you see

Future Plans

Hey all, so, I have decided that I am going to create a blog in order to explain my experiences throughout the next year in Thailand, I will still be using Facebook but this just gives me more room to do what I want with my page and to make the posts as elaborate as I want, and i will be able to post better pictures and videos from my travels, so, if you want to check out what I get up to in Thailand, follow my blog,
